Armful of Love Conclusion

 

The Walser Foundation sponsored Community Action Council's Armful of Love with a donation of $10,000 to help purchase grocery gift cards. The collection days were held in Lakeville, MN on Friday, December 12 - 15. The Walser RV provided warmth, coffee and cookies to volunteers and family sponsors. Individuals who sponsored families provided everything from shampoo to toys for families in need.

Armful of Love

The Walser Foundation is a proud sponsor of Community Action Council's (CAC) Armful of Love. This is a volunteer and donation operated service of CAC that matches families living in need with caring sponsors who provide them with holiday gifts. CAC provides services to support the families and reduce the likelihood they will need help in the future.

Reindeer Run 2008

 

The Walser RV was the proud host to the US Marines at this year's Reindeer Run. This run is a 5K around Lake Harriet in Minneapolis. Before the run, the Marines collected Toys for Tots. There was a costume contest that was filled with crazy costumes. Even dogs joined in on the fun! It was a very cold Saturday but it was worth it!
