Your car is filthy right? That salt needs to come off. We recommend waiting until the mercury hits at least 20 degrees before you drive into the car wash. Here's why:
- Your vehicle's doors can freeze shut leaving you stuck inside or outside your car until they thaw.
- Your locks can also freeze which makes locking and unlocking your vehicle difficult.
- Your vehicle's brakes can freeze and you could slide right into a very busy intersection injuring yourself or others.
- If you have an antenna on your vehicle, ice will form very easily and it may snap off.
- Ice can form on the car wash's automatic doors and they can freeze shut while the vehicle is still inside.
- Pathways to and from the car wash can become very icy. Your vehicle could slide right into the car wash building or door (We've seen that happen many times). Staff and customers are also at risk just by walking past those icy areas.
- Ice can cause the car wash itself to break down which means expensive repair bills and the price you pay for a car wash will increase.
Although it may seem like an inconvenience not to be able to wash your vehicle on a day like today, the risks involved are too high when it's still 20 degrees or colder. It's a lot less expensive to refill your washer fluid compared to total vehicle body repair.
Hello. I'm a life-long chrysler driver and am currently in the market for a new car. After reading today's star tribune story about Tammie townsend's experience with your Hopkins dealership. I can assure you that I WILL NOT be paying your organization a visit. Man up boys and honor your agreements. Good luck in this highly competitive environment where bad business practices KILL companies. You're laughable!
Most sincerely yours,

Hi,
What's your plan for making Tammie Townesend whole? Most of us cannot afford this much hassle in buying a car. I am eager awaiting your plan going forward.

I also read the Startribune today. I will never EVER buy a car from you again. Avoid WALSER like the plague..

if car salesmen didn't have the reputation for trying to screw us at every possible turn, maybe someone could side with you. but in this case you people look like complete idiots. I hope you go out of business.

you overcharged me for my car - can I get a refund?

What losers. You should have given her a free car you idiots.

If I were the judge for this case I would award her whatever 2 cars she and her husband want from the Walser dealerships, EVERY TWO YEARS!
Posted by: Worse Service | January 20, 2010 at 08:24 PM
Exactly! OR better yet, let her chose WHATEVER type of car she wants -- Mustang, Rolls Royce, Lambourghini -- and require Walser Dealership to pay the leases indefinitely!

Gosh, nothing in Walser's blog about how they are suing one of their own customers? For one of their own mistakes? Anybody who buys anything from these crooks from this point on is absolutely foolish. And from the other posts in this thread, there doesn't appear to be an abundance of fools in Minnesota. Goodbye and good riddance!

So when is the car wash open? I mean, seriously! I wait until the right "time" and "temperature" and I STILL see the "car washed closed" sign.
